Scott and Abby wedding - part 1 - temple

I was so lucky to be able to fly to Washington DC to attend Scott and Abbey's wedding.  Clare also got to come with me, as her 8th birthday present. She was so happy to be there with all of us and was very good company (aside from some barfing..more on that later).

Scott is such a good dad. He had arrived at the temple a while before us but came out to say hi when we got there.

Lance and Clare really wanted to fall into the frozen pond and get soaked but we worked hard to keep them out of trouble. Kari who watched them during the sealing said she eventually had to use full names to get them out of there! That's serious!

Yay!

Beautiful couple and cute Lance.  Funny side story when Abbey came out Lance made a comment along the lines of  "why is Abbey wearing a bath robe"? Seriously he is one for laughs.

Abbey took off her bath robe and lent it to Clare for a bit.

This is Teneal. She is amazing. She had a baby on Dec 23th and then came from Maine to DC two days later to be at the wedding and other festivities. She was incredible!

 Look at that itty bitty baby.

Such a darling family.

 Lance was having tons of fun. We had to promise him a milkshake to get him to cooperate. Cooperate means go where any adult tells you to go, smile for pics, do not ruin your clothes, do not complain too loud. He did great!

(do I look like I have chubby cheeks. That is seriously scary)
