When calvin ate 4 fiber one bars.....first, let me say that Calvin has been warned and reminded again and again that one fiber one bar per day, perhaps two if you're really daring, is the absolute limit. These are not to be consumed in mass quantities. Calvin is not one to back down from a dare.
sat morning when I woke up I saw Calvin on the couch and 4 fiber one bar wrappers on the floor in front of him. I asked if he had eaten all 4 and he said yes! haha. I told him again that one should be plenty for a day. Saturday was our day at the tough mudder. He went to the bathroom a couple of times. One time he even said, "Wow, it took me a really long time to go to the bathroom!" When we went out to dinner after the tough mudder Calvin had to go to the bathroom again. He remarked, "I had to go poo 4 times today!" Dave and I chuckled and told him it was probably because of the fiber one bars. We explained that people eat those to try and help them go poo so if you eat too many it will make you poo too much. In his sweet innocent way he was completely surprised by this discovery (even though I've warned him of that before).
One morning at breakfast Clare and Lexey tried to convince me that we should get a female dog so that it can have puppies. No WAY!!! They were very happy about the idea and I assured them that when they are adults they can fulfill that dream in their own house :)
A few nights ago I was cleaning up while Dave was chatting with Alexey. I was eavesdropping a bit. The gist of the conversation was that lexey really wants to have another baby so that she is right in the middle of the family. Right now she is near the middle but not exactly the middle. Having a 5th child would fix that since she would be in the middle. It is funny on several levels but one of which is that she has no idea that there's a negative connotation with being a middle child! Love her to pieces!
Jojo's voice is sooo high. A friend the other day said perhaps it is so high he can't hear in that range of sound.
One night Dave got home pretty late, around 9pm and I sat with him while he was having dinner. Clare was reading. She usually stays up until 8:30 or 9 reading while the other kids go to bed. The next morning she cutely said, "so mom, I'm really excited about ....... " clearly having spent the evening eavesdropping instead of reading her book.
She also thinks that the cruise we are planning without kids will actually include her. She has asked several times, "so, who do you think will babysit Calvin, Lexey and Jo while we go on our cruise?"
