I think Dave went on 5 different geocache outings while in Reno. The first was Sunday afternoon, walking distance from Grandma's house. There was one in the fence post Clare found, a very small cache.
The second cache was at the church. It was a little awkward going geocaching at the church at 3:45 sunday afternoon since the afternoon congregation was still in church so we were in a bit of a hurry!
Jo loves being out of the stroller and running around!
Check out that cute toothless smile! Clare has the cache!
There are always little trinkets and things for the kids to swap.
Putting it back in place.
Clare is making sure no "muggles" are watching. Muggles is the name for non-geocachers. You are not supposed to access any caches while muggles are watching.
Dave's second geocache trip was with Lexey, his third with Clare (no pictures since I wasn't there). His fourth was a puzzle he solved incorrectly so we never actually found anything but it was fun to look up and down this hill with everyone. Calvin stayed in the car but the rest of us got out to enjoy the view and beautiful sunny day!
Grandma was pretty bummed we didn't find anything since she had always wanted to go geocaching with us.
Dave and Clare did one last geocache at one of our stops on the way home. They traded geocach coins (something special in the geocache world).
