My kids wanted most of all to take them to Cabrillo. It is one of our favorite places in San Diego
Jo and I spent a lot time hanging out waiting for the girls and Peterson's to see everything. Calvin liked to hang out near home base as everything interesting was too far to walk to.
Jo is really into a cheesy smile these days!
Most of the time was really foggy but it did cool off enough for a few pics. The bay behind the kids is still kind of foggy.
Calvin and the babies!
The Peterson family!
All the kiddos! They had such a fun time playing together
from Left to Right: Lily(4), Lexey(5), Tyler(almost 9), Brayden (2), Calvin (10), Jo (2), Casey (6), Clare (7)
Gonda family - Dave who was working
Clare was super proud of her Jr. Ranger badge. All the other kids were too, I just didn't get pics of everyone with their stuff.
Cute of Calvin
Cute of Lexey
For a while now I have been hearing about the Access Pass to the national parks When I checked in at the gate to pay $5 for our car to enter the park I asked about the pass. It is for people with a disability and epilepsy counts. I had a dr. note in the car with me saying Calvin has epilepsy and abnormality of the temporal lobe region of his brain and that was good enough for the man at the gate. We got a lifetime (for Calvin) America the Beautiful pass which will get us in to all the national parks for free as long as Calvin lives and as long as he is in the car with us. It pays for a free entrance fee when you pay per vehicle or Calvin + 3 adults if it is a pay per person park and sometimes 1/2 off things like camping and other fees once you're in the park. Kinda nice. Not sure how much we'll use it as Cabrillo is the only national park in SD but it is a fun perk. Calvin said, "I've always wanted to have a lifetime pass to some place" (usually he is talking about LEGOLAND, Disneyland or sea world when he mentions the lifetime pass, but I'm glad he's happy about this).
All those cute kids! How fun to have playmates the same age. So fun.
