I am so behind in blogging. I'll have to do a quick December run down in several parts!
Lexey was darling in her Thanksgiving play with her kindergarten class! She has such a darling cheerful energy! We love her!
We had some residents over to watch the two most amazing football games of the year- Ohio State vs. Michigan and Auburn vs. Alabama. Dr. Ciacci, Jayson Sack with his family and Chiazo came over. Chiazo loves the kids.
Jo decided underwear over clothes is a good idea.
We had our kids sing performances. They were great! My little group (minus one) is wonderful!
We went to the neurosurgery christmas party! Drank apple juice,
admired desserts,
and decorated gingerbread houses.
Dave thought it would be fun to let JoJo ride Tressel
Later that evening she broke her arm when she fell off the couch. We did not know it was broken. We put her to bed once she was consolable. She woke up a few times and I went to sleep with her. She woke up throwing up and I thought she was sick. In the middle of the night stupor I had forgotten about her arm having been hurt the night before and figured she had a bug. In the morning I noticed she wouldn't hold a spoon with her right hand (and she is right handed), she wouldn't hold her blanket (mimi) and basically held her arm limp to her side. I called and took her in around 10am, by then she was complaining of her arm hurting and continued to tell me her arm hurt all day until the cast was put on. They x-rayed around 11:30 and by noon we had results that she had a buckle break. I took her to get casted at 2pm. Once she had the cast on she felt much better and cheered up and got her appetite back as well. We feel so terrible that we put her to bed in so much pain that she was awake crying and vomiting (but never told us) and we never even gave her tylenol!
When we picked up the girls from school they thought she was so cute with her pink cast! Jo now tells people "I broke my arm" "I fell off the couch"
She is so darling! She is full speed and doing just great. She is very adept with her left hand and creative about how to get things done without full use of her right arm.
oh poor baby! It would be hard to know just from falling off the couch though. wow nice party (and outside making gingerbread houses in Dec....I could do that)!
