I am room mom for Clare's class this year. It is great. Her teacher is very low key when it comes to parties and doesn't want anything over the top. Since I am not capable of going over the top we are a good fit. It is always fun going to school and helping in the girls classes and getting to know the kids and teachers.

There are always lots of eager beaver parents in kindergarten classes but I stop in to say hi and help in lexeys class when I am at school!

I checked the girls out of school to see the nutcracker (homeschool performance $5/ticket). It is a fun tradition. Not sure why lex is grumpy!

Jo wore jammies with a dress over them. It is one of her favorite outfits and works really well in our freezing cold house!

This is my sweet friend Elise and her kids. Elise has been so loyal and kind to me over these years we have lived in San Diego. She is a single mom and while I should be helping her more she is always giving of her time and talents. She is truly amazing. I took family pics one evening before a fun girls night out so I have these on my camera! Elise will often call and say "can I watch Jo so you can go get something done today?" ....she also had a calling in scouts a few years ago and would not let the bishop release her until Calvin had his birthday and moved up a year so that she could look out for him. Incredible!

This gingerbread house is made of REAL gingerbread and frosting and candy! It was the craziest thing I have ever seen.
