Sunday afternoon

Some of our common Sunday afternoon activities include sitting outside with The Hansens and Scotts (and whoever else joins us) while the kids ride bikes, race skateboards, have water fights, play hide and seek, or walk to willow waterhole and launch rockets or sit in someones house to visit, probably the Hansens most often.

Normally my good camrea dose not go to the waterhole but I'll have to go there and take lots of pictures so we can remember what it looks like.  Just in case I forget to add pictures, I'll describe it as a fast expanse of red dirt. It looks like some place they should shoot a movie on MARS. When it rains, it gets very muddy. With the flooding a week ago there was just one small river of water left. It was a lot like quick sand. Ellie was the first one in, Clare and Calvin also jumped in and got completely covered in mud. Jo and Warren didn't get too dirty. Lex stayed home to rest. She is getting wiped out by swim and summer schedules but joined us at the Scott's afterwards.

 Mike Hansen came over while we were there so the girls got to Skype with Mandy, Maddie and Soren.

It is amazing that Clare can look cold. It was 95 and 90% humidity. Hotter than @#$. By the time I got home I was beat read, soaked from head to tow and EXTREMELY grouchy.  Humidity is not my friend.
